I booted windows 10 without the gpu and am currently writing this on it. But to get tot he point, as the title says, I've built my first computer and am struggling. I've booted my Pc using the onboard stuff and now when i try to insert my Gpu and boot my display comes up with nothing just goes into sleep mode. The fans spin on the GPU but yet, nothing(just extra info, yes i did plug the hdmi core into the gpu)

I've also seen this problem in other threads but it was never resolved. My GPU is a MSI GTX 1060 3GB and my motherboard happens to be a gigabyte b150m-ds3h. Thank everyone for their time i hope this is worked out.

I'm using a VGA cable connected to a HDMI converter from best buy, I can test this on a HDMI monitor if you see fit
