Well , the title described it . Here's what i want to oc :
1 . My cpu , the i7 6700k . I have a z170 board ofc , msi z170 pro carbon i might add , and a deepcool maelstrom 240t that should support at least 4.5ghz oc but probably even more .
2 . My gpu , the gtx 1070 , asus strix version . Buyt i dont understand something , in the asus gpu tweak 2 , im limited to less than 1800mhz , why ?
Anyways, link me some tutorials for those .
Also , what else could i oc ? i know about ram , but those seems to not like oc

1.

    ■ Make sure your PSU is at least 450W with 4x4 pin EPS and 6 pin/6+2 pin PEG.
    ■ Ready all BIOS versions, in a bootable USB 2.0 flash drive. Learn how to do clear CMOS from manual book.
    ■ Read manual book again and again.
    ■ Remove motherboard's brake
    - Disable C-state and P-state.
    - Set BCLK to 100MHz, you can try tuneup this later once you have found stable highest 6700K preset.
Under CPU configuration you'll find base clock and offset, normally for 6700K the base clock would be 4GHz with + 400MHz offset, later with Vcore (possibly other voltage related tuneup) adjustment, you might get 4.5GHz.

I don't know why it would limit you to only 1800 MHz, but you could try MSI Afterburner. Even though it's MSI's overclocker, it'll work with your ASUS card, it doesn't matter. You should be able to increase the clock as much as you want.

As for the RAM, it's easy. With an MSI motherboard it's easy to OC RAM in the BIOS.

i have actually oced the gpu with msi afterburner a while ago as someone said that asus stuck the oc range of the card in their program . But how do i read which clock speed my gpu is running at ? I only know that i added 350 to it , thats like the max i can achieve without my pc to crash , it actually still causes a lil bit of problems , as my monitor turns black for a sec then comes back at the start , so i dont care about that , as it never happens later . I dont know how much to add to the memory of the gpu either . How much should i add ?\
I dont think i should oc the ram i heard it can cause unstability
The only problem i have now is overclocking the processor - i dont really know how to use the msi bios - i cant find where to oc it , only the blck one , and i dont know how to use it . At least the mobo sets it auto to 4.4ghz but i could ofc push it a lil bit further , as the cpu rarely hits more than 60-65 degrees , even in highly cpu taxing games . can u help me with it ?

    ■ Its factory base clock to turbo clock, ASUS have calculated its power phase design with its cooler's heat dissipation capacity, you can try pushing your 1070 Strix power target higher, but at some point, the produced FPS or render time not worth your electric bill. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1080-graphics-cards,4725-8.html
    ■ Maybe set fan's RPM to 100%, this will likely reduce fan's life span and also probably too loud for you.
