Fast speeds on every device, bar my desktop

I have had issues with attaining fast speeds on my networks for a while now on my desktop only. I have tried using different NIC's including, a TP-Link AC1900, ASUS PCE-N15 and a shitty Realtek dongle. All in which have been unsuccessful in connecting with fast speeds to my three networks, consisting of my main router NETGEAR C6300BD (2.4GHz and 5GHz), as well as my apple AirPort (2.4GHz). Generally speaking the signal strength sits around 80%. With my current AC1900, the 5GHz network is visible but when i try to connect it times out after a short while, showing an extremely poor signal. The issue that I'm facing is that all other devices in my possession can easily connect to all networks with 35+Mbps (according to speedtest) from the exact same physical location, including the 5GHz network from my Macbook Pro 2014 and even from my iPhone 6 on the 2.4GHz. On my desktop I receive around 10Mbps with ridiculous spikes. After a while, I struggle to maintain 3Mbps.

PC Specs
CPU - 6700k base clock
RAM - Cosair Vengence 16GB 3200Mhz
GPU - GTX 960 G1 Gaming
NIC - TP-Link AC1900 (up to date driver)
MB - MSI z170a SLI Pro
OS - Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit

I realise some specs aren't entirely relevant but you don't spend that much money not to brag ;)

2.4GHz Network
802.11 b/g/n
20 Mhz bandwidth
Channel 11
Output power 100%

5GHz Network
802.11 a/n/ac
40 Mhz bandwidth
Lower sideband
Channel 36
Output power 100%

Absolutely any help would be extremely appreciated. I have read around on this forum with related issues and have yet to find a definite solution. I am sorry if a solution has already been posted but none the less thank you for reading my issue. If anyone needs any further information I am more than happy to supply it. Regards

Ok, now that you have your "bragging" out of the way could we have some better information! How far away are you from the router? What radio are you connecting to? what type of security are you using. What channel are you using on the main router vs the airport. How do you have the airport setup, router extender or AP?

Approximately 10-15 meters
Two 2.4 and one 5GHz
WPA2 on all 3
Both 2.4GHz networks are on channel 11 (AirPort and main), while 5GHz is running on 36
AirPort is setup as an access point

I excluded the distance aspect, considering that other devices connect effectively from the exact same physical location in my home. I typically don't connect to the AirPort, but regardless it shows the same results as a direct connection to the router, if not worse. I am sorry for leaving out those bits of information though. Thank you for your time

Firstly never run 2 radios on the same channel, separate the channels on 2.4Ghz on the Airport and main. Move one to CH6 or CH1. Give that a go to start.

There were 3 networks running channel 11 in my area and eleven networks running on channel 6. So i changed it to channel one. Is it true that the higher the channel the better? Heard it from a friend but I'm unsure if its true.

It is running higher than normal and I'm thankful. Im just doing some tests to ensure consistency to make sure this is a solution

Whilst you cant do anything about other peoples equipment you had a conflict on the 2.4 between your two devices. The channel number makes no difference to performance CH1 is no different to CH11. You need to avoid busy channels but make sure your equipment uses different channels to each other. You can keep the same SSID and password obviously although you can not roam seamlesly, you will drop off one AP before connecting to another. This is something you should keep an eye on as your cell phone will hang on to a poor signal until it drops entirely before associating to another AP
