Computer is connected through ethernet cable but it says No Internet access HELPPP!!!

Hello peeps, i have been having internet problems, my computer is connected to my hybrid modem but it will NOT connect to the internet. The router is providing internet just fine (im typing this on my laptop using the same internet) I have tried everything. I've tried the different ports on the router, I've tried different ethernet cables, but nothing is working, here is a copy of of my ipconfig / all

The IP address you are showing is an APIPA address meaning you aren't pulling one from DHCP and Windows is trying to assign you one automatically. Are you connected to the router with the laptop over Ethernet or wifi? If you are connected over wifi I would try disabling the wifi and connecting it over Ethernet and see if you get the same results as with the desktop. If you do this and can not connect to the internet on the laptop in this configuration, check to see if your router is configured to do DHCP over Ethernet. If you can connect to the internet on the laptop in that configuration I would try removing the VPN you have installed on the desktop to make sure it isn't the cause of your issues.

Im connecting my Computer via ethernet cable to the router, i used another ethernet cable and it worked completely fine, however when i use the one im trying to use now, it wont work

Well then you have a bad cable. Why are you trying to fight it???????? Is only a few dollars, here in the U.S.
