My Desktop PC Specs (really old PC since 2005)
According to CPU-Z
CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 215
Mobo: Redfox Techonologies
Mobo Model: N61PB-M25
RAM: 2GB DDR2

I am planning to upgrade my ram to 2pcs of 2GB DDR2 800MHz 240pinn DIMM. My problem is I looked upon lazada and I found very cheap but it says "Specially for AMD Mobo" some other product details says "Specially for AMD CPU".

Questions:
- Is there a difference? between those speciially for amd cpu or mobo?
- If I am running a AMD CPU. Does it mean I have a AMD Mobo?
- If I am using a DDR2 RAM does it mean I have a 240 pinn?
- CPU-Z says my ram DDR2 has a DRAM Frequency of 334.9MHz. Is it ok to upgrade my ram to 800MHz?
- A Mobo with a AMD CPU only run a AMD CPU right? Intel won't work?
- Lastly, Will my upgrade specs work on my current specs?

If my question is confusing to you, Please let me know

Thanks in advance.

Solution
the quick answer is yes your Biostar N61PB-M2S motherboard can handle 800Mhz PC-6400 memory
manual can be found : http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=423#download
manual specs indicate :DDR2 DIMM Slots x 2 Max Memory Capacity 4GB, Each DIMM supports 256MB/512MB/1GB/2GB DDR2.
Dual Channel Mode DDR2 memory module Supports DDR2 533 / 667 / 800
Registered DIMM and ECC DIMM is not supported

so your looking for DDR2 2GB Modules (x2) DDR2-800 PC-6400 NON ECC 240Pins
I found mine on eBay, took a bit of dealing but got mine for a good price..
it can get expensive on DDR2.
Stay away from Server memory (registered DIMM and ECC)

Get a pair of the same make, type. and model, don't mix and match... get your ram as a pair set...
Hello and glad your asking all the right questions, I will answer a few simple one off the cuffs;
1. yes a board that runs AMD CPU is not design to run an Intel CPU.
2. yes there are differences in DDR2 technologies for Ram when it comes to AMD and INTEL boards. it relates to the density of the chips used on the sticks. this is also very much dependent if the motherboard you have took advantage at the time of such new technologies as high density chips.
3. upgrading ram does depend on what the motherboard will handle, will it handle 800mhz?, one has to inspect the specifications of the motherboard for that answer (see below answers are still coming)

now you state your board is a Redfox Technologies N61PB-M25, and I found nothing under that name of company but the model number of your motherboard does trigger a closely number board made by Biostar N61PB-M2S, could it be the last digit is not a 5 but an S? (yes many companies OEM to others and get rebranded but model numbers usually stay put.

So I need a confirmation if hard to read try to take a picture with phone zooming on it.

Assuming a moment it is your board;
The Biostar N61PB-M2S specifications are:
This Biostar Motherboard can take up to 4GB ram installed PC2-5300/PC2-6400 DDR2 SDRAM DIMM 240pin memory.

if this is your board, then it would answer the 800,mhz speed to a yes.
800mhz ram is DDR2 6400 and 667mhz is DDR2 5300.

waiting on the motherboard confirmation first before continuing

Firstly, Thank you Paladin for your time.
Secondly, 1 and 2 That clarifies my confusion on RAM specs again thank you
Thirdly,

Its a honest mistake. Yes it is a S not a 5.

Which means my mobo supports a 800mhz ram?

if you buy from ebay, as the seller to show you both chip side by side and take picture of the label (you can make sure the model is matching.

My upgrade spec:
DDR2 2GB Modules (x2) DDR2-800 PC-6400 NON ECC 240Pins
Get a pair of same type and model
A NON ECC and Unbuffered.

Regarding this:
Stay away from Server memory (registered DIMM and ECC)
same as the buffered and ECC right?

Thank you so much. I did not expect to solve this problem within a short time.
Great community looking forward to it.
