Can some one with a asrock z170 board help me with setting up graphics boot setting .I cant find the north bridge or south bridge option as in other thread..I have found a gpu setting under chipset config in bios and i have set that to pci lanes however my graphics card only displays visual on login screen as opposed to onboard graphics which shows bios display and then windows startup during normal startup

I'm having an odd issue here with Win 10 which involves the pc booting without seeing anything prior to signing into an account!

So when I want to access the BIOS I can't see the boot image but I can press the DEL key to get into the BIOS but I can't see anything!

I can see it when I use the integrated Graphics instead which is a bit odd!

i am actually trying to disable the integrated graphics so that bios boots up directly from graphics card instead of integrated graphics however i'am not sure what all options to look at.

theres an option to disable the integrated though without going into my bios cant actually remember what it is right now

look for something like multi gpu enable/disable

cant boot into my bios for 10 minutes or so as doing something but once thats finished will look for you

i can wait.I'am backing up files myself as i am going to format my PC.(99-100% disk usage all the time)

Why? He said it's stuck at 100% disk usage. Might save him the hassle of reformatting the entire thing.

yep have to agree i had to reread it all to see why that was relevant

1 problem at a time is best way of doing things

yes he did but its easier to try to fix 1 thing at a time is all
