Hi, so I have noticed a really strange issue with my computer recently. The PC works perfectly fine and all the components are new:
MSI GTX 1060
i5 6600k
Z170 Pro Gaming Mobo
EVGA SuperNova G2 550W
HyperX DDR4 16GB RAM
I have my computer hooked up to two 144hz monitors via DisplayPort. If I turn the computer off or put it to sleep, it does not turn back on unless I unplug and reinsert the two displayport cables from the gpu. It then boots up and displays the message "Power supply surges detected during the previous power on. Asus anti-surge was triggered to protect system from unstable power supply unit." It then forces me into BIOS where I can then start windows normally. I had a previous power supply (Corsair CX600) which was causing a different issue so I got this newer EVGA one. I brought the PC to a technician and they were able to shut off and power on the system with no issue numerous times so the PSU is not the problem, so I'm guessing it's something to do with the monitors? Any help is appreciated, thanks.
