i have a fx 8350 cpu from awhile back when i built my first computer. My motherboards vrm sucks as its a asrock 970 extreme 3 and i am upgrading to a GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 R5 which has a 8+2 power phase. I want to get the most from what i have and overclock my processor. I have a corsair h50i cooler and 8ggr3 ram. I also have a gtx 660.
Any suggestings on my settings to overclock this to 4.6?

Should i add another gtx660 and spend 20 bucks more for a better giabyte board or would that be worth it?

In my opinion you shouldn't spend money on that FX platform at all. Zen is right around the corner, I think you would be much better off saving your money and switching to zen when it comes out in a few months if you want to stick with AMD. Buying a new motherboard to OC a 5 year old cpu a little father is absolutely not worth the 100 dollars plus for a motherboard in my opinion.
