Hi everyone,

Please bare with me, as I'm surely not as technically gifted as the people on this website. I have an Asus RoG Windows 8.1 laptop that has been running completely smoothly for a few years now with zero problems. A few months ago however, without any warning, my wireless mouse that has worked for years (a Logitech M305) randomly stopped working. I did not alter any settings myself on the PC, so I figured that the mouse was just old and dying. In response, I bought a new wireless mouse (a Tecknet M002). This mouse did not work either. I even tried a wired mouse, to no avail.

I should note that the computer recognizes that the USB receiver is plugged in. In Device Manager every time I plug in the mouse's USB receiver, two instances of '2.4G Keyboard Mouse' appear with yellow exclamation marks appear under 'Other devices.' All other USB devices work on this laptop EXCEPT mice. I am currently using the touchpad on the keyboard for a mouse, which continues to work fine, but is certainly a nuisance,

So far, everyone I have asked has had no solution for me. Please help me if you can! Thanks so much!

Hey!!

I have the same problem but wasn't able to find the solution yet. If you did, I would really appreciate it if you could let me know how to fix it.

Cheers.
