Hey everyone, I finally got an excuse to make a Tom's hardware accountttt!!!!

So I decided one day to make my first Gaming PC. For about the last month or so, I started checking around and learning a bunch of stuff in the subject, and on a cold snowy day, I took my Xbox Original and dissassembled it (at first). I think I got a little carried away when I saw the heat syncs and I decided that I wanted a peak at the CPU and GPU chips. I'm telling you guys this because after dissassembling everything until it was inpossible to reassemble it, I decided I wanted to make a "spiritual successing" gaming PC in this computer. My first issue: the power supply. If I'm gonna make such a small form-factor of a build, the power supply would probably have to be external much like the phat phuq Xbox One... but I couldn't find any made for desktop PCs (needs at least 450w since I'll have an i7 and a slightly beefy GPU in it)... help?

So basically, I need either a 9"x3"x3" 450w power supply or a slightly (actually medium) bigger external power supply for this beauty I'll be making for the holidays. Thanks to all participants.
