Hello everyone! I'm looking to build a PC that will primarily be used to make YouTube videos for a "Let's Play" channel. I'm going to assume that the majority of the parts will coincide with gaming rig picks, but boosted a bit in areas such as the processing power for video editing (i7 6800k perhaps?). I just wanted to know what you guys thought the ideal build would be nowadays. I'll paste the template provided in the stickied thread for you all:

Approximate Purchase Date: This month

Budget Range: $1.5k-2k

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming / Video editing

Are you buying a monitor: No (currently have two Dell Ultrasharp U2415's)

Parts to Upgrade: N/A

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: I would like to keep it strictly to Amazon, if possible. Just trying to rack up points on my card.

Location: Sacramento, CA, USA

Parts Preferences: None

Overclocking: Yes, but I'm no overclocking guru

SLI or Crossfire: I would prefer a single beefy card over SLI/crossfire

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1200 (two of them)

Additional Comments: I know this is a bit of a contradiction, but I would like the build to have a focus on silent operation (for recording purposes), but still have a glass side panel.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I want a solid rig to make my gaming and video editing needs buttery smooth.

Solution
6800k is not required as 6700 should be enough for your purpose. Also its better for gaming due to higher clock speed and better single core performance.
Dark Rock coolers are very quiet in operation.
M2 SSD should be faster than generic ones.
ZOTAC AMP 1080is the fastest card after Titan X.
