Hi, I have been having problems with my new ASUS GTX 950 mini I bought 2 months ago. I feel as if I am not getting the essential frames that I should be getting when I am gaming. I came from a GTX 745 and upgraded to my new GTX 950. Which is a significant upgrade, although when I am gaming it feels like a huge downgrade. I used to get anywhere from 50-70 frames on my gtx 745 on low and on the same settings my GTX 950 constantly drops down to 10 frames or less. I have done everything I know about graphics cards to resolve the issue such as uninstalling/installing drivers, updating bios, checking temperature of GPU and the problem still persists. I fear that the problem is probably a hardware related issue and I have wasted my money. Any response is appreciated.
Thanks
Jack

when you drop to 10 fps it is usually the cpu thermal throttling

monitor cpu temps

its not surprising considering you did not get a blower type gpu

and the case has terrible airflow

Well, I knew the space with the gpu was going to be a problem. That is why I took it out of the case. The CPU temps last I checked on MSI afterburner, were all around 44 degrees celsius. So I do not believe the problem is the cpu.
