I plan to get this PSU (https://www.centrecom.com.au/corsair-rm550x-fully-modular-80-gold-550w-power-supply-cp-9020090-au) For this build (https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/Q8pBzM)

What are the Benefits and Disadvantages? And Is it compatible? Thankyou!

Yes it's a very good psu. Looks like the 650w version is a little cheaper. 550w is enough for that build unless you think you may add a 2nd 1070 later in which case I would get the 750w version.

Your build looks good but I would never spend so much on a cpu cooler. That's wasting a lot of money IMO. You're also spending WAY too much on the RAM. Do you REALLY need 32GB? If so, get 2x16GB instead of 4x8GB.

Well for the RAM, I don't know which one is better for gaming/Video editing (Could you tell me which one is better and what are the differences). As for the Cooler originally I was going to get (http://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Power-Supplies/ATX/57047-120-G1-0650-XR) But I was told it's really bad. Most PSU's I'm finding is not in stock and the only one available was this and I need the parts urgently.

EDIT: Anyways I've decided to go with 16GB to save some bucks, Thankyou!
