Hi all,

I need to install a program called coot. I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.

I downloaded the .tar.gz file, unpacked it and now have a coot folder with multiple files. I'm not sure where to go from here. There is no install or readme file.

I'm new to linux. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Sorry for delay in response. I looked over the wiki and it still didn't work. I was able to get it to run as an extension of Phenix, which is fine since I use both programs for jobs.
