Hello,
As the title explains i don't know why my memory is always above 99% without any Apps or Games open just idling PC.It happens after the computer has been running for a while but yesterday and today asap i booted up PC and went to task manager memory usage spiked to 99% and after few restarts memory usage dropped back to around 4GB.
Os : Windows 10
CPU: i7 6700k
Memory: 16GB Corsair LPX Vengeance
GPU: 750ti
Please help.

Solution
I remember hearing about users upgrading to windows 10 having 99% usage due to crappy network driver leaking memory over long periods of time.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\Ndu set the value to 4 which disables it.
Try this if not let me know.

What is your task manager showing when running at idle?
Do you have any AV on your system?
IF you don't and no tasks are visibly using up your RAM then may be a case of infection.

When you open task manager memory is at 99%? At idle doing nothing at the desktop? If so off the top of my head you either have WAY too many background programs running, something in windows or an application you are using has a memory leak, or you have a virus.

Task Manager is showing 99% Memory Usage and like 15.6/15.9 memory at idle.
Yes i have Bitdefender and MalwareBytes
there ain't any application showing that is pulling alot of memory if i check all total can barely pull up 2-3GB of RAM in Task manager.

Yes it basically happens when the Computer have been running for a while and after the memory reachers 99% even if i close up everything that is running and leave it to idle the memory usage does'nt drop.No i don't have many Applications running except few 2 Antivirus programs and Drivers.
Idk how to check for a memory leak?
I don't think so this computer is like 1 week old and asap i booted windows in it i installed Bitdefender and Malwarebytes.

Memory leaks can sometimes be a bit hard to track down. I would give this article I linked below a read it should help with finding it. If you cant I would just go ahead and do a clean reinstall of the whole OS, if you are comfortable doing that.

HI Leoking775 I'm glad I could be of help. I can understand your frustration I had a very similar issue with 99% disk usage at all time on windows 10 and had to constantly dedicate an SSD to readyboost on a new system so I know your pain!
