Hi All,

I'm looking into creating a low-mid range gaming pc that can do some 1080p Recording and that's about it. The game's I play aren't that demanding but i'm gonna' make sure that it's future proof at the same time with some quality components installed.

So as my motherboard I chose the B150M MSI MORTAR. This is because it's of Micro-ATX size and it's build quality is rather good.

However, there are two components specifically in mind that i'm unsure on whether this Motherboard will be able to take on. These two are:

GPU - http://www.ebuyer.com/753053-evga-geforce-gtx-1060-6gb-graphics-card-ebuyer-com-06g-p4-6161-kr

(EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB)

RAM - http://www.ebuyer.com/398358-crucial-8gb-ddr3-pc3-12800-unbuffered-non-ecc-1-35v-desktop-memory-ct102464bd160b

(Crucial 8GB DDR3 PC3-12800 Unbuffered NON-ECC 1.35V Desktop Memory)

I say this because it isn't on the supported ram and gpu list that this Motherboard has too offer.

Link to supported MB components:

https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B150M-MORTAR.html#support-mem

So in conclusion, i wanna ask that even if it isn't on there is it still for definite that these components can't be used? And if not what RAM and 6GB GPU can i go for?

I notice it's only VGA Support for the GPU list, but i still use VGA as i'm rather old-skool as this will be my second build in 8 years XD

Anyway, would very much appreciate some feedback and all the best :)

Stephen

Sorry meant to link DDR4 Memory and not 3 XD the one Zerk has linked was the one i was going for, thanks yous two for your replies :)

I'll be getting a 550w semi modular/modular at least bronze certified PSU so that'll be grand.

Cheers
