First off, I have no idea about building computers at all as I have always played console. But I have now decided to change over into the PC world.

I'll be using this computer for studies, gaming, photo and video editing. My case is a Corsair760t (white) - I'm a sucker for clear windows.

If you guys could guide me a little to see if these components are compatible and advice on a graphics card that would be awesome!

Components: (not brought yet)

Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Socket 1151 6MB L3 Cache Retail Boxed Processor

Samsung 750 EVO 500GB SATAIII 2.5inch SSD

Corsair Vengeance LED 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16 Memory Kit - White LED Lighting

Corsair RM850x High Performance Power Supply

Corsair Air Series SP140 LED Purple High Static Pressure 140mm Fan Twin Pack

Corsair Hydro Series H110i 280mm Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

MSI Z170A GAMING M5 Socket 1151 DVI HDMI 8-channel Audio ATX Motherboard

Money for the graphics card is not really an issue but I don't really want to spend over 350.

I appreciate any advice given :)

Well i would personally drop the overpriced case and liquid cooling for cryorig h7 air cooler and just get evga 550 watt g2 power supply( its plenty) and cost saving would probably get you a gtx 1080.
Honestly, a lot of that money is going to liquid cooler, and PSU. Not saying to get a CHEAP PSU, but 850 is a bit too much. Probably 700 or even 650 will do. As far as GPUs, I've seen a GTX 1070 for $379, but it comes and goes. I would get a simple CPU cooler, unless you are going for looks. But, this will be a beast of computer when it is done.

You can drop the power supply down to the 650 Watt model or get the EVGA 650 G2 if it's lower priced. Using US prices the EVGA is the better buy and the savings can be put into the price of the card. You could also get the H100 cooler.
For the video card a GTX 1070 and your all set.
