my r7 250 after adjusting fans, well, can idle at different temperatures, i'm still trying to set a value where fan doesn't spin at 35°c
that is a cold temperature, yesterday running at 720p the resident evil 7 demo i didn't saw that reached 50°c, kombustor made it reach 51°c
unigine heaven did 47 or 49°c iirc
i have a tr2 but with a gtx 750 ti, psu gets hot but under load, but none is doing any throtling, cpu wanted to do it but is a old bad case with very bad airflow so i don't blame the psu at all, it takes hot air from inside the case, it has to exhaust hot air too right?
the pain of old cases, thinking on upgrading to a corsair carbide 88r, two 120mm fans can do wonders bot in noise and in temperature
in that logic, what case do you have that r7 250? no overclocking? try msi afterburner and be sure to set a fan curve, be sure the fan is spinning!
those values are of a fan not working i think, or is a fanless model? i have a sapphire 2gbs ddr3 model but a corsair cx500 psu
if it is a fanless model, it could be poor airflow inside the case or that the psu has too much load and is starting to work funny and giving problems to the parts
is it that hot when touching the gpu heatsink? don't touch it with the pc powered on and connected to the electricity!
