I am wanting to build a new system as mine is about to crash... 7 years old.
I am wanting a reliable machine for some video editing, processing software, and either Cad or solid works. Nothing too extensive as I am not an engineer or designer just a enthusiast.
I want fast, reliable, and solid.
Looking at m.2 drive to run programs and OS. Windows 7 and up.
Graphics are not a big deal for me so something that will run is all I need.
I am wanting to store files in a raid format as well and need plenty of space.
Intel seems to be the big deal these days so looking at a solid i5 or maybe a i7. Broadwell-e, skylake, and kaby lake confuse me. Also x99, z170, or z270.
What should I be looking for?
