Random Lag Spikes

Hey everyone, a couple days ago I started getting internet lag spikes every 10secs or so. My family recently changed ISPs (Centurylink -> Comcast) and we still have the Centurylink internet active until the end of the month, so I tried connecting to it instead of Comcast to see if it was an issue on the ISP's side. However, I am having the same results on both networks. I am using a TP-LINK WDN4800 wireless adapter on my computer along with a MSI 970 motherboard. Is there anyway to fix this without going wired? If not, would a Powerline adapter be suitable to use?

If you have any questions, I'd be more than happy to answer them. Thanks!

I have exacly the same problem, with small difference, it is happening to me every minute now. Can you ping your own router and for example, google.com from command line to be sure it is the same problem?
ping 192.168.1.1 -n 40 <--- this can be different if u have different router ip addres
ping google.com -n 40
I think it is some stupid W10 process in the background or some different application messing up with ping on wifi. If u want u can read more about my problem (which I think is the same as yours) in this thread: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-3268322/problem-wifi-connection.html - sadly, no answers yet. :/
Sorry for my bad enlish if I made any mistakes.

Yeah our problems seem very similar if not identical. Good luck with yours! I'll try to remember to send you a solution if I figure one out for mine. :)
