Looking at deals on craigslist i've been finding a few deals like this at around the same price range. I am wondering if I am getting a really good deal or just a normal deal. Why do people sell computers for so cheap on craigslist or am I missing something? Here is the deal. The price is 600 to include the monitor, keyboard, and mouse and 500 without those 3 things. I already have those 3 things and think I am going to just do the deal for the computer. I might do the monitor too if its 550 for the computer and monitor but idk. Thoughts?

Let me know if you're interested. Thanks!

Yup mate , that is indeed a really good deal IMO.

The 970 isn't a $290 card now though, they were selling for $180-200 new when the 1060 series dropped.

Really nice setup for $500 though.

Thanks could I get a link to that graphics card for 180 to 200 dollars? Also I am going to ask him how much for the gaming pc what is set at 500 dollars and just the monitor (The keyboard and mouse excluded what I think are only worth 50 dollars combined brand new) What price point should I say no deal i'll just take the computer? I already have a 27 inch computer and not looking to buy the monitor unless its a really good deal as I only kinda need a 2nd monitor if that makes sense.

You won't find a 970 for that price now , as stock has diminished because its no longer made the price has gone back up for some silly reason .
Remember its a 3 year old card nearly now , slightly slower than a gtx 1060 but still a good high setting choice.
