Forza Horizon 3 doesn't open after update?

Last night i opened Forza Horizon 3 and it said that there's an update available available
so i opened the microsoft store and pressed on update and it was like 4gb file so i left it over night and now it opens but when i press Enter to play it loads forever

That was the new winter DLC that released yesterday. Did you try restarting your PC? I have the same issue whenever Forza Horizon 3 has a major update. I'm able to get it running by launching it from the Windows store page. I only need to do that once and then I can launch the game with .exe normally.
