Do i need to overclock my cpu in order to run 1600mhz ram?

I'm using Phenom ii x4 955 BE 125watt. So, i am planning to upgrade my ddr2 mobo to ASUS M4A88T-M/USB3. The specs of the mobo told me that it only supports ram with a speed of 1333/1866mhz. I have HyperxFury 8gb ddr3 1600mhz.
My questions:
1. Can i use that Kingston Hyperx Fury 1600mhz 8gb ddr3(1×8gb) on that mobo?

2. What speed can it run when i install the ram on that mobo?

3. Could it cause the mobo or ram to fail?

4. What ram that suitable for that mobo? Should Hyperx Fury 8gb 1866mhz works well?

5. And the most important, in order to run 1600mhz/1866mhz ram, i must oc my cpu?

Solution
1) There is a difference with second mobo: it has 2 slots and supports 16GB. Meaning, you can use 1x8GB, or 2x8GB. The initial memory stick you mentioned would work.

2) You can use it, but it will still work at 1333MHz when not overclocked. It should work at 1333MHz by default without any BIOS tweaks.

In any case, I would advise you to stick with your current mobo and get 2x4GB, this will do just fine. You also get dual channel by using 2 modules, which will improve RAM performance far more than just clock increase.

Specs of your mobo say:

"4 x DIMM, Max. 16GB, DDR3 1866(O.C.)/1333/1066 MHz ECC, Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory"

In other words, your mobo supports 16GB in 4 slots, meaning you can use only 4GB memory modules - mobo doesnt support larger ones. If you need 8GB, you will have to buy 2 modules with 4GB each.

So here are the answers:

1) You will likely see only 4GB if you use the module, and it might not even be recognized. Get 2x4GB. It can be the same model of memory as you mentioned. Buy a dual channel kit if possible.
2) If you purchase 1600MHz RAM, it can work up to 1600MHz, or lower if no OC
3) No
4) Any DDR3 memory with up to 4GB capacity per module, unbuffered, Non-ECC.
5) Yes. Motherboard supports 1333MHz natively, and without OC your RAM will work at 1333MHz. Which is nothing to worry about - memory frequency has very very little performance impact, basically unnoticeable for most people (there are exceptions, in particular if you only use integrated graphics, but that is a different story).

WOW! Thanks for your kind answer. Love your explanation! I have two more questions:

1. How about this mobo? The same goes to this mobo? https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A78LM_LX_V2/specifications/

2. Can i use Hyperx Fury 8GB (1x8gb)(single 8gb stick) 1600mhz on this mobo without my cpu overclocked? https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A78LM_LX_V2/specifications/
And it will run on 1333Mhz by default without setting up bios?
Or i need to install (2x4gb) 1600mhz ram same as M4A88T-M/USB3?
