What M.2 SSD in Asus gl752vw?

Solution
From all that I have read from searching, any NVME drive should work. At worst it will need a BIOS update which is simple, but more likely it'd just require changing BIOS Settings

In the manual itself it clearly states that both SATA and PCIE M2 drives are compatible, and there is no reason why any wouldn't work. That is why your laptop has the M2 slot. I really wouldn't worry too much. I am confident that whether you choose the Intel 600p, the Samsung PM961 or any other model it will function as a bootable drive.
Yes it'd work, but as far as M2 NVME drives go it's one of the slowest. That being said, it's still super fast and blitzes any SATA interface M2, and spending more would almsot be pointless (plus faster models like the 960 Pro would get very hot in a laptop) so I'd say it's a perfect choice :)

Thank you for your input!
I noticed that for only 40€ more, I coyld get this one:

Which has got a lot faster read/write speeds.
Would tgat be a better choise? Would it work as main storage in my laptop?
(Eg: booting windows from it)

Hmm.. Heat seems to be a real issue, especially wince it will be in a laptop.
I will have to think about it. Thanks for the input!

According to the specifications of your latop, it actually takes both SATA and Pcie 3.0 x4 M2 SSD's, but I guess you would need to check exact model and chipset, and follow the advice in that thread. As far as I know, all M2 2280 NVME drives function in AHCI mode AND RAID.
