I am building a new pc and I have a Radeon rx 480 4gb in an asrock 970m pro3.
I have everything plugged into the psu and the gpu is running off a molex to 6 pin adapter, when I turn the system on the cpu fans turn on but the gpu fans don't. I have connected the gpu with hdmi and the monitor says no signal. First time building a pc and need help on what to do

PSU is 500w Venus

Solution
Firstly, if the PSU doesnt have PCI-E connectors, then its highly likely to be cheap crap..

Bread board the whole PC, run the minimum needed to boot. double check motherboard power connector, CPU power connector etc. Make sure you have the little beep speaker attached to the motherboard so you can hear the diagnostic beep codes.
