Ultra wide 1080p vs 1440p 16:9? Which looks betterfor gaming? Please help

Solution
At first when you play on a wide screen or curved screen you notice a sense of immersion.... but when you go back to a quality 1440p screen, the better screen quality that is available **if you choose one" just slaps ya in the face with the improved color range, brightness and lack of motion blur.

The best gaming experience for single screen at ... any cost ... right now is 1440p, 165 hz, IPS w/ < 3 ms combined lag and response time. They are running up to $100 over last year's cost $730 - $790 at the moment because supply isn't keeping up with demand.

Acer XB271HU and Asus PG279Q

As for the wide ones, make sure you keep your PPI (pixles per inch) up near 100 (> or close to 96) less than that will make the image look "grainy" in...

1080p ultrawides have very low pixel density, and you can see the individual pixels from normal sitting distance. Not good. I would get the 1440p 16:9, but make sure you have a capable graphics card (GTX 1060 6GB or above or RX 480 4G or above).
