Wifi access problem

i use dell inspiron 15 3000 series. I am able to connect to internet through LAN but when i wish to use wifi, i dont find wifi. it kinda disappears from the settinga option.

Can somebody help pls.

what kind of adapter do you have? Are other devices (laptop, tablets, phones, etc) able to connect? Click Start > and type in "cmd" and hit enter. Then type in ipconfig and do you see wireless adapter

i am able to connect wifi in my mobile but not on my laptop. As of now im using ethernet.

Hold down the Windows Key and press X. You should see an option to turn on wireless. If that does not work, then re-install the wireless driver, and you should be able to connect
