I recently upgrade my PC and OS and I am not getting anywhere near as good of FPS as I was with my old hardware even though it is an improvement. In CS:GO I used to get 200-300 FPS and now only get 100-150 FPS. Minecraft used to get 150-200 FPS, now 100-150.
Old Specs:
CPU: FX-6300
GPU: R9 270X
PSU: 500 watt EVGA 80+
RAM: 8gb ddr3 1600
OS: Win 8
New Specs:
CPU: i5-6600
GPU: RX 480
PSU: 500 Watt EVGA 80+
RAM: 16gb ddr4 2133
OS: Win 10
