Can i play 1080p games in 720p monitor?

I want build a budget gaming pc.
I5 6400
Msi h110m pro vh
zotac geforce gtx 750 ti 2 gb
HyperX fury black 8gb 2133MHz DDR4 ram
1tb wd
Corsoir vs550 psu. Will this system playable at decent settings as I can't go any higher than this.
And one thing, do gtx 750 ti support 1080p and if so can I play 1080p games in a monitor with 1366*768 resolution????

Yes that build will work well for your purposes.

The 750 Ti output in either resolution. Games aren't designed for specifically one resolution. When you look at the game settings it will offer a choice of resolutions, you will pick 1366x768 (which will likely be the default).

You cannot play at 1080p on a monitor with only 1366x768... on the other hand you will most likely be able to play at a lower resolution. 720p mayhaps

its not cheaper than 750 in india. anyway can i play decently with the above mentioned system?

Yes, you should be able to play fine since your resolution is quite low.
