I've had this problem persist for a few months now and I've searched for an answer yet I cannot find one. Whenever I'm playing any sort of game, movement of the mouse causes both the mouse and keyboard to disconnect and reconnect, causing upset in gameplay. This persists until both the keyboard and mouse will not move, forcing me to reset my computer. I've already turned off the auto power off in device manager, and have had no luck so far. Any help is much appreciated!

Solution
1| Have you made sure your motherboard BIOS is up to date?
2| Have you made sure your peripheral drivers alongside the chipset and USB drivers are up to date? I'd also suggest looking at Intel's MEI drivers and reinstall them.
3| If this is only happening in game, have you tried using DDU and uninstalling your GPU drivers and reinstalling them with the latest found off of Nvidia's site?
4| You forgot to mention your PSU and the case you are working with. You also didn't state the make and model of the ram.
