i recently removed a USB/audio Port which was not working and replaced it with a USB/audio front panel, on the original USB/Audio it had a wire that was connected to the metal case this wire fed into the USB Jack that connected to the mother board. i am worried is this the Earth i always assumed that the earth would be connected thought the PSU and bypassing the mother and other delicate components but i am worried that buy removing this Wire i have removed the earth and made my computer dangerous. can u help
