I just got a new motherboard today which is the Asus Z170-AR and as I am installing drivers, all is good until I reach the LAN and Chipset drivers. The LAN driver has a download on their site, however I cannot find a install wizard after unzipping the file. The chipset driver says that there is already a chipset driver installed. Assuming that Windows automatically installed a chipset driver, is it the latest? Should I just leave it alone? Thanks all for answering!

One more thing, under my programs and applications, there was dts studio sound gui plugin installer. Is it safe to uninstall and what is it for?

under system, device manager under network adapter right click on your adapter and hit update driver then browse for driver point to your driver download folder. I always deleted dts its audio settings for movie watching if i recall.

your LAN is: Intel® I219V

Get your driver from the source, https://downloadcenter.intel.com It's likely going to be newer than what ASUS has posted
for Windows 10: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25016/Intel-Network-Adapter-Driver-for-Windows-10?product=82187
You never detailed which OS you're using... Intel posts drivers for your chip for Windows 7, 8, 10 in both x86 and x64

EDIT:
[strike]for Chipset:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/20775/Intel-Chipset-Device-Software-INF-Update-Utility-?product=67709[/strike]
Asus's website has a newer chipset driver posted

Then the Ethernet driver I linked will work just fine. Whether you want the Windows update supplied driver or latest from Intel is up to you. I personally like the latest and (usually?) greatest :)
