Hello,

I'm trying to have full control over the firewall of Windows10. I've removed all existing rules in order to create them myself. I've also set the firewall to block all in- and outbound traffic unless specified by a rule. This was applied to domain/private/public. Also I've set monitoring to log all dropped packets.

If I now set a rule for the browser, Mozillas Firefox, to allow in- and outbound traffic on port 80, no conncetion to the internet can be made. Despite enabling logging in the firewall settings, monitoring shows that logging dropped packets is not enabled. The log is empty.

I'd really like to get a grasp of how this works. What am I doing wrong here please?
