Hello
I have a basic H110 micro-atx board ( Asus H110m-D ) and running an i5 6500. In the motherboard specification under "Expansion Slots" tab, these are shown:
1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x1 (x16 mode)
2 x PCIe 2.0 x1
My questions are:
1. I know the PCIe 3.0/2.0 x1 (x16 mode) is the expansion slot for my GPU. But what do the other two PCIe 2.0 x1 do? I mean for what they are used for? and what's the maximum data transfer bandwidth of these slots?
2. I have just ordered a GTX 1060 6G card ( EVGA SC edition ). Is this a good choice for 1080p ULTRA 60FPS gaming?
3. Will this card be fully compatible with my motherboard and will I be experiencing any bottleneck? ( I have 16GB DDR4 2133 Mhz Memory & a 128GB kingston UV400 SSD)
4. I know that I have a budget motherboard when compared to other components... but is this really a issue? will the GPU & processor work at its full potential in this motherboard when compared to other high end motherboards? it is really a silly question! but I can't calm my nerves until I get answers!
