Help choosing a 1070 card

Hello and thanks in advance for the help. I'm looking to buy a new video card and am having a hard time picking between 2. I can't really find a way to compare the 2 so I turn to you guys.

The 2 cards I'm looking at because they are in my budget are the gigabyte 1070 windforce 8gb and the Evga 1070 SC acx 3.0

Any thoughts or input would be greatly appreciated.

than pick the one that looks better (visually) in your opinion.
performance wise there is no practical difference.
they are both using reference PCB with custom coolers.
I like the flexibility of EVGA warranty, but really it's for "advanced" users that do take things apart and modify them :)
From my experience, the EVGA SC is very good card. was running 1936MHz out of the box.

there were few cards that "went" on fire (basically died) under torture tests.
The issue was caused by "bad" batch of VRM components. nothing a regular user should worry about.
The failure rate of the cards is within the normal.
Anyway EVGA issued updated BIOS and applying additional thermal pads to improve the cooling.

Thanks for your help. I'll go with the EVGA then. Looks aren't a factor either for me. So knowing there's no real performance difference it comes down to being petty and picking the one with the better bundle.
