PSU enough + q about GPU length

Im planning to buy the GTX 1060 Dual OC, is a 500w PSU enough for the GPU? And will the GPU fit in a mid-tower case?

The PSU is an Antec EA-500D GREEN and the case doesnt have any markings anymore so i couldn't identify the case. But the case is similar to Antecs Sonata III case. And its 27cm from the back panel to the first obstructing object inside the case. So i guess the GTX will fit?

Well the card is 24cm, so yeah it should fit. I cant see any reason why not. The PSU is v low quality, but does have the necessary pcie power connectors and 500w is plenty for one card. I'd definitely considering upgrading it if you want to ensure your hardware is safe though.

Thanks a lot! Just to be sure, i can upgrade a PSU in every setup without having to check any incompatibilities or such?
