I hope i didn't set the wrong thread category.
Hello everyone, i recently noticed this issue:
I start my pc desktop normally by power button.
I noticed that was not starting properly.
No video signal.
I noticed that the fans connected to the motherboard did not spin.
Meanwile GPU was working (fans did spin and led lights were on).
Motherboard's various leds were working also.
After several attempts, I tried to disconnect and reconnect the motherboard to the power supply and, at the next turning on attempt, the PC went back to normal operation.
Any idea what could it be?
This issue happened already two times in few days.
I would like to avoid it happening again.
Sorry for bad english :/

Solution

I updated bios 5 december 2016. The first time i encountered this issue was 11 december 2016, so i donk know it may be connected in some way...
About clearing cmos... i may not be able to do it properly with my low pc knowledge, and, what may result after this procedure?

I encountered the same problem with one of my builds.. so what I did is clear the cmos after I was messing around with it.. then everything started working fine again.. You can go to BIOS settings and select load default settings, you can also remove the mobo battery that will clear cmos. but make sure the PC is unplugged from the power...

A long time ago i set an higher RAM frequency (supported overclock). I recently made a bios update, which did install correctly. Should i check any bios settings?

You can go to BIOS settings and select load default settings, you can also remove the mobo battery that will clear cmos. but make sure the PC is unplugged from the power outlet, then remove the battery for about a minutec then put the battery back in and then plug ur psu back.. then boot, u'll get a message saying that bios has been cleared then choose load defaults and reboot.. if u still dont feel sure on how to do this u can get more info on the web on how to safely clear cmos

thank you for your suggestions, i will first try to load default bios settings, then if this issue will still manifest, i will try to clear cmos. I may update the thread with results in about a week.
