here is my setup:

OS: Windows 10
MOBO: ASRock Fatal1ty 990FX Killer
CPU: AMD 8320 (no overclock)
CPU Cooler: Hyper 212 EVO with 2x Cougar CH-V12H
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Tactical 4GB (x4)
GPU: Gigabyte Geforce 970 Windforce
PSU: CX750 Bronze (non-modular)
SSD: 840 EVO

I built this computer back in early 2014, so its almost 3 years old, with the exclusion of 2 of the ram sticks that were purchased in February 2016, and the GPU purchased in October 2015.

A while back, it started just randomly freezing and I had to restart comp by holding down the power button, no logs besides saying the computer didn't shut down correctly. Before it would freeze up, it makes the sound of something being disconnected (like the sound of unplugging and a plugging in of a USB stick), would normally happen after a while of playing games (I play H1Z1 KotK and JS mainly,) but now it happens after a few seconds in game, has only froze up while on the desktop once. ****When the computer freezes up, 1 of the 2 cpu fans I have would stop spinning, and the mouse stops working until I restart.

At first when it started, I couldn't figure out anything, ended up taking it to my computer guy and he figured it to be the GPU, had it in the top slot, and due its size and weight, was actually bending the GPU slot on the motherboard a bit, and that if I moved the GPU to the second slot, due to the position of the HDD bay, would rest just perfectly to keep the GPU at a perfect level. Still had issues with it disconnecting. So I looked at my SSD, the SATA cable used to connect it, had actually worn grooves . I ended up putting some duct tape to hold it in place and prevent it from moving and it worked......for a few weeks, now it's doing it again and I have no clue how to go about testing the items since this is the only computer I have. I've also tried multiple SATA cables,

Any thought on what could be going on I would greatly appreciate them.
