Hey I started to have this problem yesterday and I haven't found a solution. I was just browsing online and all of a sudden the computer freezes. Upon restarting it would just stall at the Bios Flash Screen before saying that there wasn't an OS or bootable storage and I'd have to insert something. I had something like this happen to me before and I usually restarted and it went away but it never went away. After the 3-4 times after restarting I was finally able to get on my desktop but it eventually froze. There was a point where it kept self booting itself every 2-3 seconds, and I don't believe this is a RAM issue but it might be. I ran a couple of tests in mem64 (10 cycles) and nothing bad came up. I checked the life on my SSD and it seemed fine, ran chkdsk everything came up fine, reinstalled Windows 10 and still having the occasional freeze. Here's some of the errors from the Event Viewer

-The User Data Access_292dc service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 10000 milliseconds: Restart the service.

-The Contact Data_2964f service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 10000 milliseconds: Restart the service.

I'm starting to think it's a really bad virus. I was running some type of virus usb scanner and it showed up with 1 virus but eventually the software stopped working and I was forced to reboot again. Tried to scan it again in Avast boot but it came up with nothing.

Ah yeah I meant memtest86, must've had N64 on the brain. Come to find out my SSD died out on me. I haven't had any problems since I installed a new one. The Kingston one I had was over 7 years old anyways.

Did you mean memtest86? You may want to run malwarebytes and see if this resolves your issue and then reinstall your OS since you're going to be at that point due to all the corruption. On a side note have you made sure your BIOS is up to date inclusive of all your device drivers and that your SATA data cables aren't faulty? If you can boot into OS/dekstop without it making a scene, you may want to try out a repair install and see if this resolves the issue.

(You could swap the data cables out without fear of loosing data, just be sure to connect them as they were before.)

You forgot to include your PSU's make and model.
