I normally would look up something archived but I couldn't find any where everything worked normally then stopped suddenly. I'm trying to figure out if its that the motherboard is out or if this could be something I installed incorrectly. I've already unplugged and replugged all the connections, tried running only the motherboard and cpu, didn't try running only 1 ram stick, but I'm getting nothing even though I can hear the pc start running power when I switch the supply on and off.

If the power supply worked at one point and now it will not boot at all I would advise the Power supply is dead.

Another way to check remove the power supply from the system completely. Google how to jump power supply to test it. If you jump it and the fan does not spin I would advise it is dead.

Parts die sadly. I would advise to sent it back for a replacement.

I wish you the best of luck. On a bad overclocking attempt on a AMD 8370 I blew the PSU,CPU and MOBO. Don't feel bad it could be worst lol! And mine was self induced. Let me tell you the smell the burning parts made was horrid.

Well, thankfully it just took my HDD with it. I'd go back to the stone age if I hit it as hard as you lol. Appreciate it, man. Happy Holidays.

Sorry to bug you again, but do you know if this would also be a PSU issue if the new EVGA plat series I bought popped and shut off but will still turn on for about 10 mins. Could it be UEFI settings problem or do I have to RMA that?
