The time has come for me to build a new mid-gaming PC build. I have been planning this for the past few months and I can finally buy the components I need in a week. I would just want your opinion on my upcoming build. I am certain on most of my components but I am still struggling to choose from the different brands of each component. My budget at max is 40,000 Php or around 800$. Also, I live in the Philippines so it would be nice if someone in Manila could give me advice on where to buy the cheapest components from.

These are the sites I have been choosing components from
https://tipidpc.com/useritems.php?username=pchub (Cheapest by far this time of the year)
https://dynaquestpc.com/product-category/components/
https://pcx.com.ph/

Note: I'm planning to cheap out on the case for now and change it after upgrading ram and getting an SSD

CPU ------I5 6500 ($198 or 9900 Php)

GPU ------MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X------------($320 or 15950 Php) (Red-Themed build)
------------Gigabyte GTX 1060 Xtreme 6gb----($311 or 15520 Php)
------------Gigabyte GTX 1060 G1 Gaming-----($299 or 14900 Php)
------------Asus GTX 1060 Dual OC 6gb---------($279 or 13900 Php) (White-Themed build)
Is the MSI gaming really worth it's price difference between these brands?

MOBO---MSI B150M NightElf--------------------($95 or 4760 Php) (Red-themed build)
----------MSI B150M Mortar Arctic--------------($97 or 4840 Php) White-themed build)
----------Asrock H170 Pro 4 Hyper--------------($114 or 5690 Php) (Is this worth the extra money?)

PSU -----Seasonic M12II 520W-----------------($61 or 3040 Php)
HDD -----WD Caviar Blue------------------------($47 or 2350 Php)
RAM ----Avexir Core 2x4gb 2400 8gb w/ LED($53 or 2650 Php)

Since you're in the Asian subcontinent, you will appreciate CoolerMaster's offering of the N200 :) Provided though that you only plan to stick to matx builds for the foreseeable future.

Get this for your PSU if you're under a very strict budget and I'd forgo the LED's on the ram since you won't be able to take advantage of the higher speeds and the lights are just for show...which isn't what you want in a budget system build rather you should spend on the performance and think about lights later. Ofc aesthetics come in play but why pay more for something that only makes you think it's fast and is not fast in reality. With the B150/H170 platform you only need to pick out DDR4-2133MHz rams since any higher and you can't take...

If choosing the N200 then you have to leave the ASRock hyper off the table although the Hyper from ASRock can allow for non K suffix processors to be overclocked but with BCLK overclocking it's not advised for long periods of time. I'd choose the Arctic by MSI ;)

I'd ask you drop in a 120GB SSD for your OS and some games to be on. In this day and age, you can actually have your game library on another drive altogether and in the event the OS gets corrupt or one of your partitions on your mechanical drive fails, it' not affecting the SSD or vice versa.
