For gaming, the 3930K would perform much better. No game is taking advantage of 6+ cores (most no more than 2-4), and the higher clock speed & OCing ability of the 3930K would win out.

What CPU do you have currently? Assuming you're on LGA2011 currently, maybe a 3820? If so, there would be zero benefit in upgrading for gaming (infact ,you might actually see lower performance)

Investing in an LGA2011 was likely more expensive than Skylake or Haswell, so might not have been the best choice for the money, but if yo've already purchased (and cant return), the 3930K is a great CPU! A 3820 would be good too, if you could find it cheaper.

It should pair nicely with a 1070, especially with a bit of an overclock.

NO...HMM....I got the mobo p9 x79ws for 150 euros. That was amazing deal. And i got 32gb of ram for 90 euros so total will be around 400 euros..So the cpu can compare to 6700k and the only 6700k cost 330 euros in Slovenia.Than mobo 130 and ram 16gb ddr4 is 100 euros. So it is good deal.Thank you very much
