I recently completed my first build with asus z170-a motherboard and i5-6600k and my ram is the corsair vengeance ddr4 16gb (2X8gb) at 2133mhz. When I power on the computer it boots, fans spin, my gpu lights up, motherboard power light is on. However i have the dram led light on my board telling me there is an issue with my ram. The beep code I get is one long two short. I called asus tech support and they told me that my ram wasn't compatible. I actually got my pc to get to the bios last week with the same ram sticks I used. Now I can't enter the bios at all and monitor remains at no signal. Ive tried to use asus's memok! button but that didn't work. I've made sure everything is connected to the board the way it should be. I tried putting in the ram at many combinations of the 4 slots, but that didn't work either. Ive made sure I've had it in correctly each time as well. I am out of ideas and need help.
