hi!

last night i removed my old amd fx 6300 and added a 8350, and so far, it had worked great! started it up, installed drivers, and no more bottleneck that was currently happening from my 6300 and my gtx 970.
i put my pc in sleep mode last night and i come to find out my pc isn't working very well. it starts; with only some ports working. my keyboard works, but not my headset or mouse. i also get no signal to my montiors. i've tried everything; unplugged power supply cable and replugged it in, reset the pc (there is a button for it!), and went in the mobo and made sure the psu was plugged in, the cpu fan was plugged in, and the ram sticks were properly in. i've checked the fourms and i saw a post to where someone said it was a motherboard issue; but the mobo is 3 years old, the warranty has expired, and i don't have the money for a new mobo.

Solution
Greetings!

Maybe you just need an updated BIOS for you motherboard to support the new CPU. I suggest heading to your mobo manufacturer's website and see if there is a more current BIOS to download. Also, research the instructions on how to flash/install a new BIOS for your particular motherboard if you need to update.

Hope this helps!
