So i'm NOT extremely knowledgable with computers. I know basics enough where I can research parts I want to use to upgrade then and install them. I had an AMD Raedon R7 GPU and decided to upgrade it to play better games. Upgraded to MSI RX 480. Computer was UTTERLY slow after this. I thought it was a CPU issue not being able to handle it (i had an FX-4300) so I upgraded to an FX-8350. This helped but my computer is still slow (booting, simple tasks such as google chrome, itunes, notepad, etc). Also when I boot my computer says it can not handle the CPU and has to downgrade it so to say. What do I have to do to end this chaos, I am curious is this could be a motherboard issue or a RAM issue.

Thank you

CPU- AMD FX-8350
GPU- MSI gaming X RX480
MOBO- AMD 760G chipset
8GB ram
EVGA 700B power supply

Solution
Any fx990 chipset and most A88 chipset do support them but I can't find a micro ATX 990 that exists anymore and I can't find a micro ATX A88 that is still for sale.

This seems like a new GPU with old or generic drivers issue. Did you install the latest drivers for your new GPU?
If not I recommend you download Display Driver Uninstaller, completely uninstall any GPU driver leftovers and then install the appropriate drivers from the official AMD site.

Just got new motherboard. Installed, works nice and fast no issues, so thank you guys. But now I bring you another issue. Upon boot up everything is enlarged (icons, cursor, toolbar, etc.) any fix to this?
