My existing slow old motherboard is a GF615M-P43/ NF725GM-P43/ GF615M-P33V2/ NF725GM-P33/ GF615M-P31V2/ NF725GM-P31. Well one of those are my motherboard model, i just dont know which specifically because that's what is listed in my manual. So, are this kind of motherboard models support ahci? I have also gone in the bios setting and in the integrated peripherals where i see some settings that involves changing the sata mode but the only options available for me is ide and raid. Is choosing the raid is the same as choosing ahci?

The fastest way to tell is in the BIOS accessed when turning the computer on, in the boot device/storage menu. There really are only 3 in most cases that your motherboard will support, BIOS/MBR, RAID, and AHCI. I would be quite surprised if your running a system with DDR3 support but lack AHCI.
