So my PC wasn't booting correctly for some reason today. I would try to boot it up and it would die after a few seconds, and then it would try to boot up again but die after a few seconds again, and it would continually do this. I reset my CMOS and now the computer boots up normally and dies after a substantial amount longer (20+ seconds or so), and then when it boots up again it stays on indefinitely like normal. However, when I plug my display in, the display recognizes the PC but says there is no input coming from the PC (neither onboard nor GPU). I have a feeling this is a PSU problem, but the lights, fans and drives all spin up and turn on normally. Please help!

Solution
It would help us identify the culprit if we knew of the hardware you have to work with. That being said, with troubleshooting threads, please pass on your full system's specs inclusive of your OS and connected peripherals.

Try and have your system breadboarded and then try booting up your system. It'd help us two fold if we knew the age of the components/system.
