Is i7-9xx compatible with 1333 MHz RAM Memory?

As title says, My friend has 1 spare CPU (idk exactly which one of i7 1st gen. ones), I am planning to get this motherboard: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/X58_ProE.html#hero-overview .
So my question is, as Mother board supports 1333 MHz DDR3 Memory, does CPU also supports it as on Intel's site says :" Memory Types DDR3 800/1066 ".
Please help me, thanks in advance Tom's hardware community!

The speeds specified for the RAM, motherboard, and CPU state the maximum speed supported. They will usually run lower speeds just fine. The actual speed you achieve will be the lowest of the three components - in this case 1066.

What's on the intel site is the stock speeds. As you can see on the mobo it says 1333 is an oc and your cpu can oc ram to those higher speeds. The ram speed is the max it was tested at. Your cpu will run any ddr3 ram no matter the speed but it will just run stock unless you oc.
