Hi I have 4100 and I'm wondering how much it's going to bottleneck the 480 when I get it. I built this computer back in 2011 and have been using the 7770 for quite a while.
Decided to give it a bit of an upgrade not really thinking about my cpu bottleneck at all. Is it going to be a noticeable increase or will my cpu still hold me back?

First off, you don't need an 8gb 480. The good news and bad news is that a 4gb 480 will give you great performance in a lot of games. I say 'a lot' because some games are very demanding when it comes to CPU performance. In those games the 480 won't help much more than if you got a 460. A good compromise would be a 4gb 470. You'll get all the benefits of solid 1080p performance in games that need GPU power, while not spending as much. This way if you play games that are CPU bound you won't lament all the extra money you spent on videocard power you can't use.
