Recently, I cleaned some dust out of my computer and took off my heatsink to clean off some dust. I never thought anything of it until now, where i cant stream anything at 60fps (like i usually do). I could only assume that the thermal paste is the culprit, because it was de attachted from the cpu itself. I have tried reinstalling windows and no change. What do you guys think?
Do i need to re apply thermal paste?

Any time you remove the heatsink you need to clean and reapply the thermal compound. If you don't do this you will, in all likelihood, introduce air bubbles, dust or other debris that will substantially reduce the effectiveness of the heat transfer.
I just tried to run overwatch (i usually get 60fps+), and I am now getting 20fps. I recently reinstalled windows, so i checked all of my drivers, and they were all good. I am soconfused.
heres my specs: 16gb ram, 500gb hdd, fx 6300, msi r9 380 4gb @ 1000hz, msi 970 gaming motherboard.
